A family has been left spooked after this chilling ghostly image appeared in a photo taken on a camera phone.

Ciara O’Callaghan, from Blarney, Co Cork spotted the unexplainable vision of a face when she flicked back through her iPhone pictures.
The image is so convincing that Facebook even gives the option of TAGGING the face.
She told the Irish Mirror: “My brother Glenn came down from Sligo and I took a picture of him with my niece Carly and nephew Sean in the kitchen.

“My niece took the phone from me to pass it over but it took a photo of the ceiling by accident.
“I didn’t take any notice until I looked though the photos again.”
Ciara, who describes herself as a sceptic, decided to investigate the freaky photo further by uploading it onto Photoshop.

She explained: “To try to find a logical explanation my brother-in-law got the photo and took it into Photoshop, where he changed the colours, darkened it and increased the contrast.
“Rather than show the logical explanation we were hoping for, it seemed to simply further the level of mystery.
“We don’t have anybody who has a face remotely similar to this one in terms of dimensions or physical appearance.
“There is nobody else that looks like that and it’s just extremely strange.”
Ciara, who has lived in the house with her husband for the last six years, said there has never been a history of anything weird happening.
But she admitted: “Some people are saying it’s like the Conjuring and some people are saying it’s a good spirit.
“I haven’t been on my own in the house yet. I don’t know if it’s comforting or not but if I saw it again I might freak out.”
Ciara said she is now desperate to find out what the ghost-like image is.
She said: “At this point, we are simply just reaching out to the public at large to see if there can possibly be a straight forward explanation to the accidentally taken photo.
“We have checked all the photos on the iPhone both in the camera roll and in the photo apps on the iPhone and we don’t have a photo of anybody who looks like this.”
